Built to the highest specifications, you can be sure only the best materials will be used. The coastal town of Caulonia Marina, with its soft sandy beaches, traditional Italian restaurants and year-round holiday atmosphere, is close to some superb ancient Greek temple remains.
About the Resort
The complex is adapted to spend a relaxing and perfect time and gives you the opportunity to be in contact with the natural and healthy atmosphere of the area. This wonderful complex has all the facilities you will need, a beautiful communal swimming pool set in lovely landscaped gardens.
Parghelia is a lovely area renowned for its fishing industry, and due to its geographical position has stunning views of the area. There are beautiful beaches and small bays where you can relax in the sun or enjoy various water sports in its pristine waters.
About the Area
Caulonia perches atop a hill that rises some 300 metres from the Ionian coast and sits between two rivers, facing the sea. The breathtaking scenery surrounding the town has made Caulonia a popular spot since Roman times. The town boasts Byzantine frescos, a Norman castle and some interesting architecture.
Caulonia, like the neighbouring towns of Monasterace and Roccella Jonica, has plenty of religious and gastronomic festivals to celebrate. During August there are several important festivals, notably Tarantella Power which celebrates the fiery passionate tarantella dance that originated in Calabria.
There are two airports, Lamezia and Reggio Di Calabria within a 55-60 minute drive from Caulonia.
